That is so true! Why...Thank you for your honesty! That is so true! Why do we hurt the ones we love the most? I was disgusted with my daughters pimples. I could barely stand to look at her face she had acne and two enormous red pimples! I mentioned it to a friend (how do you get a teenager to take care of her skin?) She had just seen my daughter and said she honestly had not noticed!!!! I was shocked. How could she not have seen it? They were all I could see. Because all I can see is what is wrong and blemished with her. It was a stunning indictment of my attitude and made me realize how hyper critical i had been. And my relationship with my daughter has been definitley showing the strains of my attitude. I would not want someone looking at me with an eye towards what is wrong. When I saw my daughter later, i realized her pimples were covered with make-up, they were mostly hidden by her hair, and she is beautiful! But that is not the message i have ever sent to her.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
