If you enjoy anything today it is only because men and women chose to shelve their personal freedoms to fight for ours. I thank God every day for courageous people, like my father, who were and are willing to give everything so we can enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This truly is the greatest country on God’s green earth.

Remembering
I saw a sign the other day that said, “If you’re enjoying the American dream, thank a veteran.” That sentiment is especially true today.
If you enjoy anything today it is only because men and women chose to shelve their personal freedoms to fight for ours. I thank God every day for courageous people, like my father, who were and are willing to give everything so we can enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This truly is the greatest country on God’s green earth.
