I can hardly thank enough those who have contacted me since the last post about Amy. Thanks so much for your emails and phone calls – they have meant so much.
I haven’t heard anything more from Belize, and I’m certain that’s a good thing. Again, I am operating on the “no news is good news” policy (which I have to believe is true because we still have NOT heard from Michael).
The wave of panic that first washed over me when I heard of Amy’s need to see a doctor has passed and I have been overwhelmed by the “peace that passes understanding.” Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” has brought great comfort to me today. I cannot be there to take care of my baby, but God is.
Psalm 30:5 has amazingly new meaning to me: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.
If I hear anything else, I’ll be sure to post it here.
