All things, including brain tumors

Click here to read my tribute to Wade, who passed away in May 2014. He will be, and already is, missed.

Wade Williams taught me how to worship. He led songs and hymns and prayers in ways I’d never seen before in the very staid church tradition I was raised in. He taught Sean how to participate in worship without it being a performance for anyone but the Lord. Wade discipled Sean and his dear wife, Jennifer, discipled me, although neither would say they did. They’d just say they were our friends. And thankfully, still are.

From this past Christmas - the waitress had a really hard time with the iPhone camera!

And today, our friends are in Houston, where a surgeon will operate on the tumor in Wade’s brain.

If you’re the praying sort, please pray for my sweet friends. Jennifer asked for several specific prayers on their behalf, but this one will tell you all you need to know about their focus:
Pray for us to have God's peace and grace and for Him to be glorified
They are still discipling us.

Wade made this video for the church he serves in Atlanta. The only fault with it is we don't get to hear him play the guitar. He is a master!

We will certainly be praying for Wade, Christy...He is such an amazing person. And I'm so glad that he has his music because, in addition to his relationship with Christ, it has to be a great source of comfort to him.
