Okay, we're up from our nap and we came downstairs to find the Clean Dish Fairy did not visit the kitchen. So I'm up to my elbows in dirty dishes and sudsy water.
Our day has gone very well, considering this was our first Thanksgiving away from extended family. We've talked a lot about Grandma and Grandpa, Nanny and Pops and the aunts and uncles and cousins. We've wondered what they're doing and we’ve reminisced about Thanksgivings past. But no one has complained. There have been a few tears but no bouts of deep sadness or outbursts of anger at our situation. And for that I am truly thankful.
