I pulled back the curtains this morning and was blinded by some strange, glowing light. What the heck? Can it be the sun?
And when I turned on my computer a few minutes later my desktop thermometer greeted me with a happy sight:
I haven’t seen that pretty picture in quite a while. Who cares that it's only seven degrees? The sun is out and it's shining!
Don’t know how long it will last, but I am certainly grateful for it right now.
Hooray! Isn't is sad that we get so excited about one sunny day? I once heard that Lansing is one of the cloudiest cities in the whole country. I don't know if that's true, but I wouldn't be surprised.
